Understanding toxic air quality issues, after a disaster, is critical to your loved ones health.
I have spent 40 years in the construction, inspection industry and customer service. My family and mentors have taught me that the true value of a person’s life is measured by how well they serve others. That belief continues to guide my work today.
Experience has taught me an important lesson:
“What we don’t know, can and will hurt us, especially when health is involved.”
Asking the right questions is essential to best serving my clients. I genuinely love my customers and the work I do.
A few years ago, a close relative experienced a small electrical fire caused by an overheating furnace blower motor. Although the family escaped safely, the home was filled with dense smoke. What appeared to be a minor incident became the beginning of long-term displacement, financial loss, and heavy disease toxicity throughout the homes interior.

Concerned about toxicity like, metals and Volitale Organic Compounds, I discovered advanced testing is available. SIFT-MS and Toxic Metal Testing and Analysis is available. Volunteer Mold and Indoor Air Quality (VMIAQ), sampling and analysis revealed poisons and toxic contamination in the air, on services, in the Heating Ventlation and Air Conditioning system. Even to interior of wall cavities were toxic to the touch and breath. Oddly the home had been declared safe by an insurance-sponsored inspection. The home was, in fact, unlivable.
This led me to question the adequacy of current post fire testing and remediation practices. Learning about fire-related toxins creations, illustrated the failures of conventional post disaster inspection, places thousands of homeowners and family members at risk.
Volunteer Mold and Indoor Air Quality, was founded to, provide the full truth of insured losses by providing scientific testing for toxins airborne and on surfaces.
Our mission is to provide independent, science-based inspection and testing, asking the questions others don’t, so clients can make informed decisions about their health, their property. Volunteer Mold and Indoor Air Quality cares enough to seek and provide the truth.
